We met Jon back in 2010 during an open house. Even though we made Jon aware of the fact that we were nore ready to buy, he was still very informative and took the time to point out some pertinent details in regards to things we should look for in a home whenever we are ready. Both my wife and I felt really comfortable with his no pressure way of handling things. It only made sense that we contacted him earlier this year when we were ready to buy. He made himself available to accomadate our busy schedule and would always return our calls in a timely manner. During our home search, my wife and I visited a few open houses and had a chance to interact with other realtors. Everytime they inquired about who was representing us, they all knew who Jon was and It became very clear to us (more than ever) that we had made the right choice in selecting him. He was/is well respected in his line of work. He was very in tune with what we were looking for in a home, even more so than we were, and after several showing of our choice, he ended up showing us a home that he believed would meet all of our needs. It was the right location, the right size but it was outside of our budget. Jon felt confident that he could negotiate it down to a number we would be comfortable with. To add another twist, we found out there was already an offer on the home, meaning that we would potentially enter a bidding war. Having someone of Jon's caliber on your side is a plus when it comes to situations like this. Jon was able to negotiate the price down to a number we were comfortable with and seal the deal within a day. Closing on our new home happened within a month from that day. Thanks to Jon, we are happy first time home owners as of May 2nd 2011. I've heard a lot of horror stories about the home buying process and how stressfull it can be. I can honestly say that I cannot relate to any of those stories I've heard. Working with Jon was an extremely smooth process and stress free. I guess it pays to have the right agent on your side.
